National Statistical Institute, in cooperation with the Open Society Institute, organized a discussion with stakeholders about the project “Novel Approaches to Generating Data on hard-to-reach populations at risk of violation of their rights”

On August 6, 2019, Open Society Institute had a roundtable discussion with the participation of representatives of various institutions (ministries, agencies, local authorities) with responsibilities and mandate in the field of social inclusion of vulnerable groups such as Roma, people with disabilities, children and others.

The discussion was part of the stakeholder consultations foreseen under the first phase of the project “Novel Approaches to Generating Data on hard-to-reach populations at risk of violation of their rights”. The consultation will contribute to the development of a common methodological framework for future household survey as well as for follow-up analytical activities. The purpose of the meeting was to identify the specific needs of national and local authorities in terms of data and indicators that could facilitate their work, as well as to improve the effectiveness of resources intended to include groups at risk of poverty, socially exclusion and violation of their rights.
